Looking at the work at the end of the weekend |
Fab gelli plate print of found leaves. We were looking rather longingly at the lovely big house plants in the college, but they were too healthy to have shed leaves! |

We all had a great time. Sorry I haven't commented before, I have been slightly unwell + a week at West Dean College kept me busy for four days making screen prints. I've never made my own screen print before and we made one of our own design plus an open screen. Must get round to blogging some of the results. My baby-wipes became my car hand stitching for the journey. So all my orange colours were added to with scavenged browns and a turquoise. My best prints from our weekend at Durham were a borrowed stencil (gears) and a rubbing from one of my wooden blocks. I will take photos in daylight for you.
Glad you enjoyed it Sheila. I'd love to see some photos
